Brycarda's Bourbon

Bourbon has fleece coverage and crimp that we all dream of. With enviable character, lustre, and density of fleece, the result of breeding these 2 lines has paid off. Both grand-dams have several 1% EPD rankings, as does his sire.

Bourbon's third fleece was 10.5lbs of light fawn luxury, and as you can see from his show record, the judges confirm he is "improving with age."

Bourbon started his breeding career this season, and we are excited to see his offspring hit the ground next summer.

Brycarda's Diego

Diego has presence! Just past 3 years of age, he has presented as a good sized, sturdy male. His fleece is very bright white, with tight crimp that goes all the way down those legs. He has excellent leg coverage, and his third shearing produced over 10lbs.

Diego's sire, Tocino's Matrix is in the top 1% in three categories. At 15 years of age, Matrix's Dam had an AFD of 21.8, and 5 categories in the top 1% EPDs.

Diego started his breeding career this summer, successful with his first outing.

Tocino's Max

Max is a spectacular male, co-owned with Tocino Alpacas. Medium fawn in colour, his fleece is beautiful.  A fine micron count and tight, uniform crimp, this male also has a gentle personality and is easy to work with. On his dam's side, RFA Tango provides him with enviable EPDs for uniformity of micron count; his grandsire on his sire's side is Sweet William, so holding that fineness will not be a problem.

Check out Max's 2019 EPDs, ranking in the top 1% for %F>30, (#156 of almost 26,000 male alpacas in North America).
